Big Brothers Big Sisters

BBBS is not your typical organization.

Big Brothers Big Sisters believes that every child has the inherent ability to succeed and thrive in life. We are part of the nation’s largest donor and volunteer supported mentoring network and the premier adult to child mentoring program in Butler County.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Butler County makes meaningful and monitored matches between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and children (“Littles”), ages 6 through 17. Through partnerships with parents/guardians, volunteers and others in the community our program helps children overcome adversity and reach their full potentials.

National research has shown that positive relationships between Littles and their Bigs have a direct and measurable impact on children’s lives. By participating in our programs, Little Brothers and Sisters improve the odds that they will:

  • have higher aspirations, greater confidence, and better relationships,
  • avoid of risky behaviors,
  • experience educational success.
